  2. Yeah. I don't have a lot to say in my defense. My enjoyment of that song isn't even ironic, I legitimately think it's one of the best pure pop songs in recent memory.

  3. Surprised that "Oblivion" (Grimes) didn't make the list, or "Hold On" (Alabama Shakes).

Good list, I'll check out the playlist for the ones I'm not familiar with.

  4. #18: I've never listened to the whole thing through even once. I've heard bits though.

#16: What percentage of listens was watching the video? 100%?

  5. DG: "Oblivion" was one of the last songs I pruned off the list to get it to 30. I waffled on it a hundred times, and I've done so a lot since then.

AMR: I'd say probably somewhere in the range of 60% (though the stats I keep aren't quite that specific). It's a great song tied to a classic video.

  6. Just noticed that this isn't your top listens, but your personal rankings.

  7. Regarding Ms. Jepsen:
    Have you hear this version?

  8. Yes! I have heard that, though the mislabel I heard credited it to Dan Deacon. Really good pop deconstruction.

  9. Oh, it's Dan Deacon, that site seems to collect submitted remixes and deconstructions of pop hits.
